The Story: Mom keeps saying something over and over, but I'm not sure what. "Cuddle Bug..." I have never heard such a thing... or anything really. Sound used to be carried on the same water that carried me. Everything blended together like humming. Even the louder, harsher tones were mellowed and calmed by my magnificent water bubble. But today, for the first time I notice sounds are much clearer and crips. As if sound has a texture to it, she makes the noise again, "Cuddle Bug." She wraps me up firm and warm in a blanket that smells just like her. Whatever that word means, I smile as I get cozy for another nap with my mom.
