Spirit's Journey: Episode Twenty Two - cancer
The Story: Happy First Birthday!!! I have no idea what presents are, but Mom keeps handing them to me. Dad keeps ripping them up, but I am not allowed to taste the paper. I am allowed to play with the box inside the paper. Auntie and Uncle comes for a visit with their two boys, and two of Mom's friends show up with a vegetable tray. Mom picks at it. So I want some of it too, and she feeds me snacks all day. I am getting good with my two bottom teeth. So good I got Dad the other day on accident. Before the night ends, I am up in my highchair as everyone sings to me. It gets even better when I see fire burning on top of a cake. Dad won't let me touch it, but he gives me a cupcake instead. One bite of frosting, and I become the cupcake monster! But that doesn't last, because I fall asleep in my chair with frosting up in my hair.
